Refunds

This page covers money paid for sittings with Gateway Layerhub Analytics. It does not cover goods, subscriptions, or posted merchandise, because we do not sell those.

Eligibility

A refund is due in full if we cannot accept the files after payment of a deposit, because the sample is unusable and cannot be repaired, or if we cancel a sitting for our own reasons and cannot offer a new date you will take. A refund is not due merely because the briefing did not name a single cause, or because a change window you ran after the sitting did not improve the traffic.

Timeframe

Ask in writing within fourteen days of the sitting, or within fourteen days of a cancellation, whichever applies. Later claims are considered only where Georgian law requires it.

Full and partial refunds

If we have not yet begun to read a usable file, the deposit comes back in full. If we have begun to draw from a usable file and you cancel, we keep a portion equal to work already done, billed against the estimate, and return the rest. After the sitting has been held, the fee is earned. Caption corrections named in the sitting remain included; a new window is a new sitting.

Standing monthly reviews: if you end a four-month block with fourteen days’ notice before the next sitting, unused months after that sitting are returned. The month in which notice falls is not returned if the sitting was already held or was skipped because logs did not arrive a second time.

Non-refundable items

Bank transfer charges levied by your bank. Travel you booked. Print copies already posted at your request. A skipped standing month after a second missed log drop.

How to ask

Write to info@gateway-layerhub.digital with the sitting date, the invoice reference, and whether you want a new date instead of money. You may also telephone +995 422 555 436. We confirm the decision in writing.

Processing and method

Approved refunds travel by bank transfer to the account that paid, in GEL, within fourteen days of our written confirmation. We do not send cash.

Cancellation, rescheduling, deposits, no-shows

You may reschedule a sitting once, with at least three working days’ notice, at no extra fee. Later changes, or a second change, may be treated as cancellation of the original date. If you do not attend a confirmed sitting and do not write that morning, the sitting is a no-show: the remainder of the fee is due if work was finished; if the sitting was the remaining work, we keep the deposit.

Deposits are one third of a Traffic Review (and of longer path maps) when we accept the files. Short incident strips under five days are usually payable on delivery; if a deposit was taken and we have not begun, it comes back under the rule above.

Work already started and materials

Once charts are in draft from a usable file, that labour is “work already started.” We do not charge extra for paper and ink at the desk. If you asked for a posted print inside Georgia, the postage is earned once the packet has gone.

Exceptions

If illness at the desk prevents a sitting, we offer a new date or a full refund of sums paid for that sitting. If your logs were seized or you must withdraw them for a legal reason, write as soon as you can; we stop reading, destroy our copy on request, and refund according to work already done.
